4ganizer

Clean genres.
Correct years.
Ready to mix.

4ganizer cleans up messy genre tags, fixes wrong release years, and finds duplicate tracks — even under different filenames — so your library imports clean into Rekordbox or Serato, every time.

Free. Apple Silicon & Intel Macs, Windows 10/11. See all releases →

First launch on Mac: macOS will say the app "is damaged" — that's just Gatekeeper flagging an app that isn't code-signed yet, not an actual problem. After moving it to Applications, open Terminal and run:
xattr -cr /Applications/4ganizer.app

Less digging, more mixing.

1

Genre profiles

Map a messy folder to the genre you want, once — every future scan applies it automatically.

2

Duplicate finder

Finds tracks that are the same song, even if the filename or tags are different — then clears out every extra copy in one click, even with hundreds of duplicates.

3

Correct release years

Checks your tracks against a huge public music database, so a track tagged "2023" that's actually a '96 classic gets caught.

4

Review before anything changes

Every change is shown side by side, so you know exactly what's about to happen before a single tag or file is touched.

5

Fully undoable

Tags restored, files moved back — every batch can be undone right up until you start the next one.

6

MP3, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, M4A

The formats Rekordbox and Serato both read, handled carefully so your audio quality never gets worse.

7

Runs locally

Your library never leaves your machine — we only send a short sound signature online to check years and duplicates, nothing else.

Stop re-tagging by hand.
